I only know what is possible for me and not what is possible for you. And having said this I do know that once you and I start to see things from eye to eye we can create a safe space. Within, we can start to be seen. (My younger self)
Is seeing, believing?
I believe in many things that I choose or react to. When I show interest in my self-development I can start to see that there is more to me than others perceive or I allow to be seen.
Where attention goes neural firing grows and information energy flows- says Dr Siegel. And that information also carries old story traces and beliefs about the self. The beliefs that no longer serve you. Yet we can often communicate from these places. When we are unaware of these stories and beliefs about the self, we likely speak from the triggered pain points and ego states. And there will be a chance to create a ‘drama triangle’ like an invisible popup tent and you will find yourself in it.
Are you committed to yourself?
At the survival level, many of us would do anything to stay alive and carry on breathing. How about at the thriving level?- are you committed to making a difference to the natural self? I see it in my life and in my clients’ lives that false evidence around the self appears to be a fake and untrue reality that we fall for.
We believe it to be fate and destiny or an unavoidable outcome. Making a commitment to yourself is making a commitment to stay connected and integrated with the plane of possibility more. Communicate from the place of options and make choices instead of reactions.
Being seen…
Is one of the key aspects of well-being. It means that you are able to stay in the window of tolerance and see and manage the information energy flow in your mind and body. Whether is a negative or positive view of the self that comes up you are able to navigate this energy motion without becoming reactionary. You see the old internal narrative for what it is. And you are able to apply neurobiology-science-based approaches and techniques to remedy, repair and relieve the stories that the brain created in the past.
This narrative often sneaks into your present moments, when it gets prompted, to mislead and fog the true self. Being seen means seeing the true self by you who embody it first, then learning to align your true self with your values and purpose later.
Practical guidance
I journal, meditate and practice breathing exercises. They help me to build the new and unlearn the old (defensive) mechanism. I find neurobiology-science-based exercises helpful and transformative.
In #Movember, more men recognise the need to take care of their mental health and shed light on it. If you are one of these more aware, proactive and kind men, you might want to have a visual plan about taking care of your mental- brain and body health.
You will become less reactive and more aware of your own information energy flows that travel in your brain and body. You will more likely achieve your goals. And more likely increase your energy frequency and empower the well-being aspect of being seen.
Allow your true wants and needs to surface and become more connected to your true self.
I see and wish you well on your healing journey
